After the release of Windows 10 version 1903, Microsoft updated its minimum specifications to run the latest version of Windows 10 (1903). Here are the minimum Windows 10 specifications based on Microsoft recommendations.
- Prosesor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) atau diatasnya
- RAM : 1 gigabyte (GB) for 32-bit atau 2 GB for 64-bit
- Hard disk: 32 GB untuk 64-bit dan 32-bit
- Graphics card : DirectX 9 atau diatasnya
- Display resolution: 800 x 600.
Even though it meets the specified standards, there are still many who experience problems with the system that is running slowly. Especially if you only use the right hardware specifications.
Because if the view from the recommended RAM specification is 1 GB (x86) and 2 GB (x64), it is already too old for the year 2019, where the RAM 4 GB alone is considered small.
But Microsoft actually has a Windows 10 specification document that differs from the specifications announced above.
It was discovered by @Vadim Sterkin via Twitter, which in the document explains in detail how to get the most out of the Windows 10 experience possible.
As written in the document "If you are a decision maker purchasing new devices and you want to enable the best possible security configuration, your device should meet or exceed these standards."
So when compared with the general specifications given by Microsoft above. The following are the "real" specifications for running Windows 10.
- Processors: 8th generation Intel processors (Intel i3 / i5 / i7 / i9-7x), Core M3-7xxx, Xeon E3-xxxx, and Xeon E5-xxxx processors, 8th generation AMD Processors (A Series Ax-9xxx , E-Series Ex-9xxx, FX-9xxx) or ARM64 processors (Snapdragon SDM850 or above)
- RAM: 4 gigabytes (GB) for 32-bit or 16 GB for 64-bit
- Hard disk: 128GB for 32-bit or 64-bit
- Graphics card: DirectX 9 or above
- Display resolution: 800 x 600.
So this specification is a "real" recommendation from Microsoft if users want to really get the experience of using Windows 10 to the full. Although actually not 100% can be a reference because of the experience of different users.
If you have experience using Windows 10 which is less than optimal, even though you have used decent specifications. Be sure to share it via the comments column.
